This spacious apartment is located on the peninsula stretching out from Kas and faces out over the bay and open sea. It is in a quiet location set in landscaped gardens with tremendous views. This ground floor apartment with a second floor feels much more like a villa than apartment. One of eight it shares a large swimming pool and has its own terrace and private entrance.
The front door opens onto a spacious lounge / dining area with kitchen set to the rear of the room. A washroom with w.c. and shower is located to the left of the staircase. The kitchen is well equipped with fridge/freezer, electric oven and gas hob and plenty of storage space. The lounge has sofa, armchairs, dining table and chairs and patio doors open onto the terrace with views over the bay. The tiled floor and breezes from the sea ensure that the lounge is comfortable and cool all year.
A stone and tiled staircase leads up to the first floor landing. Two twin bedrooms are located off the landing. In both cases the beds may be put together to make double beds. Both rooms have air-conditioning, fitted wardrobes and patio doors open onto a large balcony with glorious views. At one end of the landing is good sized bathroom with w.c., shower, wash-hand basin and fitted washing machine. All windows are fitted with fly screens.
Dolphin View is about 2 kilometers from Kas and may be accessed by local Dolmus ( bus) which runs a fairly regular service to and from the harbour. It is about a 40 minute walk to Kas on a level road with breathtaking views to all sides. A taxi will cost approximately £4 one way ( based on 2004 prices). A short stroll downhill from the apartment brings you to steps that lead down to the sea where there are steps from which you can swim. Ideal for snorkeling and fishing.
On the way into Kas are the ruins of an ampitheatre worth exploring. There is also a dolphin rescue centre and dolphinarium on the way in. The peninsula has a number of hotels and restaurants available and it is worth spending some time walking round the peninsular. The local baker will deliver fresh bread daily on request.
Price per week: May, June, October, November £350 and July, August, September £400.
Price includes weekly maid service, linen changed once a week, welcome pack. Yillidrim and Liz Osigirim look after the apartments and are available should you have any problems and will give advice on the area. Airport transfers may be arranged on request.
NB guests are requested not to smoke in the apartment.
