Kalkanblue ( the agent ) promotes property on behalf of the property owner and the contract drawn up for holiday lets / lets is between the property owner ( owner ) and the party renting the property ( client ).
The agent will actively promote all properties through direct marketing on web sites – Google, Inktomi ( Yahoo ) and other sites. The company will also advertise in national and local UK press, promote a campaign through targeted marketing and any other means deemed appropriate.
The agent reserves the right to use any material forwarded by owners for the promotion of the property but will always seek permission to use any private photographs prior to using in printed material.
The agent will ( within the context of the agreement ) run an index listing, main page and diary for each property. All enquiries will be passed directly to the owner either by email, telephone or web sites ( as agreed with the owner). The agent will create links to individual property web sites, at the request of the owner. Reciprocal links are welcome as they help to enhance the positioning for both sites on search engines.
The agent will cover all the costs of advertising, telephone calls, postage and other reasonable costs incurred in the promotion of the properties.
Owners should advertise if a damage deposit is required in advance.
The agent will not forward details of the owner or their contact details to a third party without express permission of the owner unless legally forced to do so e.g. by customs and excise/tax officials.
The agent does not accept any responsibility for any actions taken against owner’s for any misrepresentation that clients may believe to have been promoted on the web site or through other advertising media or lack of promised facilities/services once at the property.
The agent does not accept any responsibility for any damage (accidental or malicious) that a client may cause whilst renting the property.
The client will:
Ensure that all details described in the literature and web pages are accurate.
Ensure that the property is serviced and available for the dates and times agreed.
Ensure that all services offered in the literature are provided.
Inform the agent as soon as possible of any problems that may affect the guests, especially if it may mean a change of venue or change of dates.
Ensure the property is properly insured.
Arrange all airport transfers, and where appropriate car rentals, unless otherwise agreed.
Give the agent a contact name, address and telephone number at the property location to be able to contact in case of emergencies.
Always confirm booked property space through the agent, even if booked privately or through a separate source.
I/we wish to take up the offer of:

In all cases the contract commences as of 1st November and is renewable each year at the end of October.
This contract negates any previous contract signed between Kalkanblue and the Client
