The apartment is a two bedroom ground floor apartment on a small complex,

The complex consist of 42 apartments in total, and these are in 4 blocks.

The is 24 hour security on the complex, the daytime caretaker speaks very good english, and is extremely helpful, if any problems arise or you need advice or help he is the man to speak to. He can also arrange for drinking water to be delivered to the apartment when you need to refill the water cooler, this cost approx 75 pence for 19 litres of bottled water. It is advisable to use this water to brush teeth and cook with as the tap water has many minerals in it and may affect sensitive stomachs.

The kitchen is fully equipped with water-cooler, fridge, cooker, washing machine , toaster electric kettle, and CD/tape player.

There is a hairdryer and small travel iron in the apartment for your convenience.

The bedrooms are bright and spacious, there is a double bed, triple door wardrobe and bedside cabinets in the master bedroom, whilst the smallest bedroom has two single beds a bedside cabinet and large chest of drawers.

The lounge has two sofa beds which fold down to double beds with a simple ‘click click’ action. Also in the lounge there is a dining table which will seat 4 and 4 fold down chairs. The lounge also has the benefit of air-conditioning, and double french doors leading to the large balcony, which overlooks the swimming pool.

In the apartment there is a modern bathroom with a separate shower and jacuzzi bath,which also has a shower over it. There is a hand-basin and W.C, the water heater is also located in the bathroom.

Unlike many toilets in turkey, because this is a new building, the waste pipes are able to cope with toilet paper, however No ladies sanitaryware should be put down the toilet, but placed in the bin.

There are many sun-loungers around the swimming pool with umbrellas and small tables for your use. There is a children’s pool for small children attached to the main pool, this is separated by decorative railings to prevent young children straying into the deeper pool.

A children’s play area and ornamental gardens are also located on the complex near the entrance.

Location

The complex is located in a residential area in Altinkum, there are many bars and restaurants within short walking distance.

Dolphin Square with its many shops, bars and eating places is approximately 10 minutes walk away, the 1^st beach is also at Dolphin Square, there are pedalos, banana boat, jet ski and speed boat rides available from the beach, also sunbeds and umbrellas for hire.

If you turn right at Dolphin Square you will go along the promenade towards the fishing harbour, there you will find boats offering excursions, restaurants selling many different varieties of freshly caught fish, in an area rich in tradition and culture.

If you turn left at Dolphin Square and walk along the promenade to the 2nd beach, you will pass many shops and market stalls selling designer clothes, watches, sunglasses and traditional Turkish souvenirs at very reasonable prices.

Many restaurants in Altinkum offer a taxi service for customers, and will arrange for you to be collected from the apartment at a time specified by you and taken to the restaurant free of charge, you may or may not choose to be taken back to the apartment after your meal. Its up to you.

There are dolmuches (small buses) running near the apartment at regular intervals, the 3^rd beach is very nice and about 5 minutes away on the dolmuche, there is a Saturday market in Didum this is about a 7 minute ride away and the fare is about 60 pence each way.

In the summer of 2004 an Aqua Park opened in Didum, it is the newest in Turkey and only about 15 minutes away on the dolmuche, there are many slides and pools at a very reasonable price, this summer there will be an additional 7-10 rides opening.
