This exceptional villa is on a hillside, in a quiet location alongside a mature olive grove, with spectacular views over Kalkan Bay and out towards the Taurus mountains. The owners have furnished the villa with care and it has many extras not normally found in a holiday home. The villa is about a ten to fifteen minute walk down to Kalkan
Ground Floor
Designed in a spacious open plan style it comprises a sitting room, kitchen with dining area, toilet and central atrium that leads to the outside eating area, pool and patio.
The sitting room has two double settees and two armchairs with leg rests, coffee tables and air-conditioning. There is a TV Satellite system with dvd player and a cd/cassette player and a selection of board games. Double doors open onto the covered outside dining area with wrought iron glass topped table and comfortable chairs. The well equipped kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, electric oven with gas hob and extractor fan, fridge-freezer, coffee perculator, kettle, toaster, ample china, cutlery and cooking utensils, leads off from the central atrium. The central atrium has a borad expanse of windows giving a fabulous view over the bay and out to sea from all floors. Access is via a magnificent wrought iron and wood spiral staircase leading up to the sleeping accommodation.

An open landing leads to the master double bedroom ( 5ft bed ) with en-suite shower room, outside balcony with seating and second smaller double bedroom ( 4'6" bed ) also with en-suite shower room and outside balcony. Both rooms are air-conditioned and have ample wardrobe space. The balconies both boast lovely views.
Second Floor
This floor has two single attic bedrooms ( limited headroom ) each with a 3 foot bed, fan and terrace. These bedrooms share a shower room.
Terrace and Garden Area
Outside, and accessible from the lounge and atrium, there is a good sized private pool and terrace with views over Kalkan Bay. Surrounding the terrace are well stocked gardens and pots making it into a wonderful place to relax and swim in complete privacy. Six sun loungers and three umbrellas are located by the pool. There is a shaded area for al fresco dining and a patio table and chairs looking down over the bay.
Additional extras - all the villa windows have roll back insect screens and spare adaptors to fit UK plugs are provided in each room. Also provided are an ironing board, iron, hairdryer and mosquito plugs in each bedroom ( they will take standard tablets).
The villa is designed to sleep 6 guests maximum in the four bedrooms so giving plenty of space and privacy for guests to be able to enjoy the special ambience of Villa Akkaya. Please note the villa is smoking, but only outside, and because of the local terrain is not suitable for very young children or the infirm.
Prices per week:January - March £400, April £450, May £600, June £700, July £750, late July and August £850, September £650, October £600. Price includes weekly cleaning service with an end of week towel and linen change, with additional cleaning on request. The pool is checked and cleaned and the garden watered daily.
