Villa Derin

 

 

Derin is the name of our lovely baby girl, and now is the name of our dream home. It will be our pleasure to host you in our beautiful villa.

A place to unwind, relax, and enjoy all that beautiful Kalkan has to offer, in the best location where you can relax in quiet surroundings, but within easy reach of Kalkan town centre – about 15 minutes walk and 5 minutes by car. Free water taxis also run across the bay between Kisla and Kalkan, a really relaxing way of getting to and from Kalkan!

Villa Derin is brand new, beautiful, and spacious. It has been built and furnished to a very high standard with stone walls that provide privacy on the terraces and around the private swimming pool epitomising the cool, sophisticated, and luxurious character of this villa.

This 3 storey property is air conditioned throughout, and accommodates 8 very comfortably in 4 large bedrooms. The spacious bedrooms all have spectacular views of the bay, harbour, old town, and have good sized en-suite bathrooms with showers.

Downstairs the large open plan living, dining and kitchen areas lead to a spacious terrace with wonderful views.

The swimming pool and dining terraces are comfortable and elegant. The spectacular outside lighting for late night swimming, barbeques, and entertaining makes Villa Derin a fantastic place to spend your evenings when you are not enjoying the old town.

But it's not just the accommodation that makes Villa Derin so special. It's location within 5 minutes walk of the beach on the Kisla side of the bay, a place to enjoy spectacular views, and peace and quiet with the atmosphere and amenities of Kalkan’s old town at your reach gives it added appeal.

Accommodation and Amenities

There are four substantial bedrooms at Villa Derin, all luxuriously appointed with queen sized beds in the two double rooms and two single beds in the twins.
All the bedrooms have good sized en-suite bathrooms with shower and ample hanging, drawer and storage space, a dressing table with mirror and bedside tables. The lighting is warm and subtle and we use only the best cotton sheets and soft plump pillows to aid a good night’s sleep.

All the bedrooms are air-conditioned and have spectacular ocean views, even from their bathrooms.

The Double rooms are 19 m2 in size (including balconies)

The twin rooms are 17 m2 in size (including balconies)

The en-suite bathrooms are an additional 8 m2 and 5 m2 for 2 different size of bedrooms.

The kitchen is well appointed with large fridge freezer, dishwasher, oven, gas hob, extractor hood and granite work surfaces.

Satellite television and DVD player provide entertainment when needed in the lounge area and the selection of board games are great fun to play on an evening in, outside on the dining terrace.

The living area of nearly 56 m2 is well appointed, luxuriously furnished with a Lycian style fireplace and has a big dining terrace. This level has also got a spacious balcony of 20 m2 to enjoy your meals with gorgeous views, the perfect place in fact, to relax, and enjoy your holiday.

The beautiful natural stone mosaic terraces round the private pool provide plenty of space to sunbathe, swim, dine and entertain.

There are luxurious teak sun beds with thick cushions on which to relax, with a space for your drink while you soak up the Mediterranean sun and enjoy the sea views. The fresh water swimming pool is 7 metres by 4 metres wide and 1.6 m deep, and has wide mosaic steps into the water.
Beautiful outside lighting all around the terraces and in the pool transform the feel of Villa Derin at night making it a place that you will want to invite new friends for drinks or late night swims.
Bouganvillia grows down the stone walls around the villa, and in the garden olive trees, palm and many other plants create a subtropical feel.

Location
Villa Derin is based on the Kisla side of Kalkan and is within easy reach of heart of Kalkan's old town on Turkey's Mediterranean coast in the region of Lycia. It’s an ideal location from which to explore the surrounding area of Kalkan and Kas

There are several grocery shops/restaurants  within 20 metres.

Welcome drink at Bob's

Welcome drink (wine or beer) is included at Bob's Street Cafe/Rest. (2 blocks away) where you will enjoy the splendid view during the sunset over Kalkan bay in your first day to ease all of your travel fatigue.
